What is a paper cup fan? On the paper cup machine, flat rectangular paper needs to go through a process called "cup wall forming", which involves rolling it into a cone shape through a mold and bonding the sides. In order to optimize material utilization and reduce waste, raw material suppliers will pre cut the paper into specific sectors (or trapezoids). Multiple such fan-shaped pieces are connected end-to-end and rolled into a huge mother roll through precise overlapping or docking techniques.
