Technical Specifications
  • Outer arc length: Determines the circumference of the cup mouth. Outer arc length ≈ π× cup mouth diameter. Due to overlapping edges during processing, the actual arc length may be slightly greater than the theoretical value.
  • Inner arc length: Determines the circumference of the bottom of the paper cup. Inner arc length ≈ π× cup bottom diameter.
  • Bus length: Determines the height of the paper cup. Note: The length of the busbar is not exactly equal to the height of the cup, as there needs to be a section at the bottom of the cup body for bonding (curling) with the cup bottom.
  • Fan-shaped angle: A geometric angle determined by the diameter of the cup mouth and the height of the cup. It defines the 'degree of opening' of the sector. Accurate fan-shaped angle is the key to ensuring that paper cups can be perfectly rolled into a cone shape and have neat seams.
  • Overlapping edge width: There will be an additional edge on one radial edge of the sector. During the cup rolling process, this overlapping edge will overlap with another edge and be bonded with hot melt adhesive to form a sturdy cup body side seam.
